Defense of physicians opposed to vaccination during the COVID-19 pandemic before professional regulatory authorities and the labor court, raising the following question :

Following the transposition into Belgian law of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (the so-called “Whistleblower Directive”), are the conditions laid down in order to qualify as a “reporting person” (Article 7, §7 of the Law of 28 November 2022) applicable in situations where physicians publicly denounce, on social networks, the alleged harmful effects of mass vaccination? What are the conditions governing the applicability of the law? Does it have immediate effect? How should such a claim be formulated, and what guidance may be drawn from previous case-law and examples?”
